Background. The article is devoted to the study of the mechanisms of deconstruction of traditional discourses in Vladimir Sorokin’s prose. The focus is on the novel Telluria, the short story Nastya and other short prose forms.
Purpose. To reveal that the destruction of classical narratives (from the socialist-realist canon to the classical Russian prose of the 19th century) is carried out through the strangeness of language, the destruction of conventional binary oppositions, and carnalization.
Materials and methods. The article examines the specifics of the author’s work with established semantic constructs based on a complex of methodological approaches, including linguistic, semiotic, structural, and poststructural methods, as well as elements of iconological analysis.
Results. It can be concluded that Sorokin’s texts expose the conventionality of discursive practices, their connection with the mechanisms of power and violence, and create new semantic configurations in place of destroyed stereotypes.
Обоснование. Статья посвящена исследованию механизмов деконструкции традиционных дискурсов в прозе Владимира Сорокина. В фокусе внимания находятся роман «Теллурия», рассказ «Настя» и ряд других малых прозаических форм.
Цель. Выявить, что деструкция классических нарративов (от соцреалистического канона до классической русской прозы XIX в.) осуществляется через остранение языка, разрушение привычных бинарных оппозиций и карнализацию.
Материалы и методы. На основе комплекса методологических подходов, включающего лингвистический, семиотический, структуральный, постструктуральный методы и элементы иконологического анализа, рассматривается специфика авторской работы с устоявшимися смысловыми конструкциями.
Результаты. В результате проделанной работы в статье можно сделать вывод, что тексты В. Сорокина обнажают условность дискурсивных практик, их связь с механизмами власти и насилия, а также создают новые смысловые конфигурации на месте разрушенных стереотипов.
